LWV UMRR is very proud to claim all these fine Leagues as Member Leagues as of Feb 1, 2026!

Membership in LWV UMRR runs from July 1 through June 30. Dues for member Leagues are only $25/year. Membership allows each League to send a delegate to UMRR’s Annual Meeting, held virtually each spring. Dues help support educational programming, speaker honorariums, and advocacy initiatives. League dues also allow us focus on our Program of Action which includes the following:
  • Commenting on federal regulations, like changes to the definition of Waters of the US
  • Mississippi River Restoration and Resilience Initiative (MRRRI)
  • Safeguarding our Mississippi River Together (SMRT)
  • Farm Bill reauthorization
 
Be sure your League is a member in order to help develop regional positions on river resource issues and serve as an advocate of the Upper Mississippi River in order to help preserve the great resource which is the Mighty Mississippi River.

  1.   -  Pay online using the online form below and PayPal.   When you have entered the information below, you will be sent to a PayPal page, where you can pay with your PayPal account or your credit card.  (If you choose to use your credit card, PayPal will ask you if you want to set up a PayPal account.  This is your choice, not required.)  

                                                             Dues are $25/year for each League.

    Please complete all the required fields (with red asterisk), and add more contact people for your League if there are other contacts.  (It helps us to have more than one way to reach your League, so thanks for doing this!)  When you are done, scroll down to the bottom of this form and click the "Continue to PayPal" button.  This will automatically send your information to the membership manager here at LWV UMRR and will send you directly to the PayPal page.

    If your League has more than three contact persons, please email that information to [email protected] .  All contact persons will be added to the LWV UMRR newsletter mailing list and receive monthly newsletters as well as official emails relating to membership, annual meetings, etc.  Some Leagues have chosen to subscribe all their members to the LWV UMRR newsletter; if you wish to do this, email a spreadsheet with names and emails to us at [email protected] and we'll do the rest!  Thanks!
