LWV UMRR holds educational meetings every two months on topics relating to our mission of water quality and climate change. The videos of these meetings can be used by local Leagues for their own educational meetings on water-related topics, either as background or as a full program. This page provides links to the programs, which are also found on the LWV UMRR YouTube Channel.
Bonus! This video was produced by LWV Woodbury-Cottage Grove (MN). Here's the description:
From extreme heat to ecosystem threats, real changes in Minnesota's climate are impacting the health of Minnesotans. While everyone is affected, communities least able to respond are bearing the largest burden. Hear from Kristin Raab, Director, MN Climate & Health Program, Minnesota Department of Health, and Lynne Markus, Climate Change Task Force, Minnesota League of Women Voters. They will address the health impacts of climate change and what you can do to protect yourself, family, and community and create a better world for everyone to thrive. |
