Wetlands Matter!
LWV UMRR Annual Meeting 6pm on June 9, 2026 via Zoom Materials for the 2026 Annual Meeting follow Materials will also be emailed to member League contact persons. Delegates are asked to register for the meeting using the registration link in the button below . Each of our 68 member Leagues is eligible to send a delegate. Not sure if your League is a member? See the list of "Member Leagues as of May 3, 2026, on our membership page.
The Business Meeting starts at 6pm sharp. Delegates - please plan to sign into the Zoom by 5:45 so we can certify our count.
Non-delegates are welcome to attend as well - the wetlands talk will begin at 7pm. Please register for the meeting even if you are planning to attend only the wetlands talk. All who register will receive a link by email, and a reminder email the day before the meeting. Those coming only for the 7pm talk may join at that time using the same link. The Wetlands Initiative: Then, Now, Next
Paul Botts, Executive Director of the Wetlands Initiative June 9 at 7pm The Wetlands Initiative designs, restores and creates wetlands. Immediately following the business meeting, Paul Botts, Executive Director of TWI, will describe their work in restoring farmland and industrial sites to vibrant wetlands teaming with diversity. They innovate, collaborate, and employ sound science to improve water quality, create habitat for plants and wildlife, and help to slow the warming of our climate.
